When it comes to creating spaces that reflect a client’s personality, Jill White Designs helps homeowners break the rules
Jill White’s love of design began at an early age. Growing up, she spent summers working at her paternal grandparents’ lumber company. However she credits her maternal grandmother for inspiring her love for design and the arts. After graduating from the University of Arkansas with an interior design degree and working throughout the state, Jill started Jill White Designs.
She says her business officially starting in 2014 whens she ordered business cards and created an Instagram account. She credits this social media presence with helping her business grow both in Arkansas and beyond. “I love social media,” she says. “I think it is fun and necessary in today’s world.”
Jill helps her clients break typical design rules to make their space unique. “I want them to realize they can go for the funky room they pinned on their Pinterest board and get over breaking the rules.” However, one trends she never tires of is a good black and white pairing. “I can’t help it. They are cool and classic colors, and I never tire of them.”
With an emphasis on classic, lasting pieces, Jill incorporates color, pattern, and edge into each space she creates and tops off her designs with one-of-a-kind accent pieces. She believe “everyone deserves a cool, beautiful space that reflects his or her own personality.”
