We’re taking color cues from Katie Henry of Katie Grace Designs in our May issue. She worked with Little Rock homeowner Pamela Rees and gave her home an update to match her personality. The living room, kitchen and breakfast nook are all open to one another, so Henry carried the same color palette throughout the entire space. In the breakfast nook, a pair of lamps Rees already owned started it off and work well with the coral accents. A custom credenza by J & J Custom Cabinets offers storage as well as a serving space and goes great with the modern white chandelier. Fayetteville designer Katie Henry of Katie Grace Designs collaborated on this color-infusing makeover of Companions Clothier owner Pamela Rees’ Little Rock home. The result? A bright and happy space that matches the homeowner’s jubilant personality. From the foyer (seen above), there is also a view of the living room and breakfast nook, so the design had to flow with the connecting spaces. Henry started with a lighter version of the home’s palette, which was a fresh coat of Sherwin-William’s Navajo White. A heavy ironwork console and coordinating sconces were replaced with a retro gray entry piece, gold Greek-key style lamps, and original artwork by Arkansas artist Amanda Kella.
