Diane Carroll says, “I spent two days this week photographing a gorgeous, color-filled house with Tobi Fairley (which will debut soon in our August issue), and it’s fun to see one of her sources of color inspiration. Paulette Pearson says, “As we plan our August family homes issue, this post on children’s rooms really stood out to me. I would have loved a map on my bedroom wall as a child, allowing me to dream of all the places I could one day visit.” (“Book Review: Room for Children” from The City Sage)

We’re bringing back “At Home Hits the Runway” after a several month hiatus!
This home, which made the cover of our current issue, is an ideal match for Philosophy’s Pre-Fall collection. Both show the colors trending this season: neutrals like rich brown and warm tan that add stability. Interior designer Jim Howard of James Michael Howard, as well as Philosphy’s collection, complemented brown with shades of faded blue and teal… a match made in design heaven!
