If you follow our blog you know that when it comes to entertaining we like to make it memorable for our guests and simple for us…Â Just requires a little planning.
Some thoughts for a successful holiday party…
Candles, Candles, Candles…Nothing creates atmosphere like candles.
Don’t forget to dim the lights… We like a dimmer on every switch!
A roaring fire…It’s cozy, makes your guests want to settle in. In fact, they may not want to leave.
Delicious food. This is such a busy time…forget the seated dinner and opt for fun finger food and keep the conversation going.
It can be as simple as cheese and wine…
How about chicken and pepper jack pizza?
An appetizer buffet is always a crowd-pleaser. Select one or two new recipes to supplement some of your old favorites.
A few suggestions…
Shrimp and zucchini skewers
Baked fontina herb dip…
Baked brie bites
Guacamole bruschetta is a beautiful red and green choice
Decadent drink… We always love wine..why not add a  festive choice too!
Christmas tunes… Don’t forget to load the iPod with Christmas favorites.
Maybe pick up  Michael Buble’s new CD
And for parting gifts at the door…
Fill a basket with wrapped baked goodies or whimsical ornaments.
Or how about sending this special pecan topped brie home with your guests? This recipe freezes beautifully.
Just one more thing to make this a night to remember.
It’s your turn. Let’s talk!
