Architect Jason Landrum, a partner with The Wilcox Group in Little Rock, and his wife Dana worked with contractor Tina Boyd of Boyd Homes, Inc., in Little Rock to design and build their Craftsman-style home in downtown Little Rock. "We needed a larger home for our family," Jason says. "We wanted to stay close to downtown, but I was resolved to have a new home without the major maintenance required for older homes." As an architect, Jason focused on the structural and aesthetic details. "I paid careful attention to the proportions of the roof, along with the shed dormers. The exposed rafter tails, oversized porch columns and trim on the fronts of the dormers were also important to the overall look."
